Back in late October we set out on one of the last warm rides of the season, heading south along I-25 to the desert town of Socorro, NM. We started with a vague notion of where to park and begin but like any unknown route, we were at the mercy of our imaginations... and Google Earth.

Of course, the human imagination can be a wonderful thing from time to time - as can Mother Earth.
